Released 37 years ago today, on October 21, 1988, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers marked the long-awaited comeback of the masked killer after his absence from Halloween III.

Set ten years after the 1978 killings, the film followed young Jamie Lloyd, Laurie Strode’s daughter.
