i'm a senior designer in vancouver who has worked for netflix/amazon/dreamworks/disney/hbo, and most recently, pbs! do you need a background, character, prop, fx, gui designed? or just someone who does bg production? basically, if it isn't comp, i've done it in a 2d pipeline

a dimly lit city street with an alleyway between a convenience store and a vending machine. there's a little shrine with a bunch of paper wishes hanging in the back of the alley. a figure with green hair smokes beside the convenience store

a spoooooooky greens swamp with a bunch of moss and trees. a unicorn character stands leaning against the centre tree

8 colour variations on an astronaut character wearing a big puffy coat and big stompy boots. they have shaggy hair, glasses, and a mushroom growing out of their head

GUI design for the HBO show Young Love. the page shows a main character, then a phone showing an app, and then 2 full shots of the app. the app is called yay or neigh, and there are two beautiful horses at sunset named neighvid bowie (aged 3), and jon bon pony (aged 4). why did i have to draw this? you should watch the show and find out so it'll get another season so i can be employed again

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling says being disavowed by the Vancouver Board of Parks wasn’t “much of a blow” after its commissioners unanimously voted to apologize for a Harry Potter event opening in Stanley Park next month.

Rowling posted a screenshot on social media of board commissioner Tom Digby’s statement about how it had disavowed the author for her views on transgender issues.

The British author says she was unaware that the board had “avowed” her and posted that she would accept a “certificate of avowal” that she would frame hang over her computer and take a selfie with it.
