As a result, I finally switched to UE5.6 btw.
Bravo, bravo.
I feel a bit silly to realize this now😀
I use a 4K monitor and always wondered why my UE5 projects don't run at a decent framerate even on M4 Max...
And today, I reduced the resolution to 1920x1080, and now I have projects that run as smooth as mink.
I hope it helps those who are brave enough to use a Mac for UE5🙏

Reworked the ledge-hang logic. It’s now more efficient, stable, and just better overall!
You can now control how far the character moves and slide smoothly along curved ledges.
A little more polish and it’ll be ready to go✨

Optional setup for objects whose origin is not at the center of bounding box.
Made a thumbnail maker with #geometrynodes .
It renders square thumbnails of 3D models regardless of their size.

I found a plugin so game changing I would buy it twice.

What it does is make all SMs in the project into ISM on packaging.
No need to make PLA or logic to align ISM/HISM anymore.

Made a simple Editor Util Widget that changes the time in Ultra Dynamic Sky☀️
UDS has a built-in tool like this, but mine also applies settings for the time like exposure, contrast, skylight leaking, etc.
