That doesn’t mean that I don’t still feel hurt after the 1-2 weeks, I just don’t allow myself to feel the emotions that intense.

Sometimes I have to gaslight myself into thinking I’m okay.

Other times I use the fuck it method. Just wake up one morning & say “fuck them, fuck that, fuck it!”

However I have to, honestly! It definitely depends on the situation, but in most cases I wrap up the intensity of my emotions after 1-2 weeks simply because if a situation consumes me for too long it’ll take a toll on my mental health!
