This is actually the only set in the whole Hanafuda deck that I managed to finish back then haha

These cards are an old project of mine I never got to finish
But I decided recently to not only post the ones I already made but also try finishing the whole deck.
It's definitely going to be interesting to see how differently my style will be after two years!

This year I'm focusing more on technique and learning some new styles I've always wanted to try!

Also making lots more smaller pieces of art!
I've always struggled with making small art because I thought I had to go big each time
So I'm working on changing that mindset!

Yeah, definitely! Twt felt like a void that you could scream into and get no answers from
Users felt detached from each other for whatever reason so it was a siphon of negativity and I do think that contributed a lot to people's feeling of requiring a huge following to "get anywhere", so to speak

--I just wanted the engagement and the feeling of being part of a community!

So tbh I'm fine with any follower count as long as I get to hang out and have fun with others of similar interest!

When I was on twt I was self conscious about my small following because it felt like my work wasn't seen
But since moving here, I've had an even smaller following and yet every post I do people from the art community would engage in it
It made me realize that numbers didn't matter to me--
