I love it. Something dreamlike about watching someone so ethereally beautiful do such dreadful things. The drowning scene remains so chilling. Fascinating movie to think about and discuss.

One reason this movie falls just short of being a stone cold five star movie for me is this courtroom scene. It is a bit much. And there is no need for it to be this long. #tcmparty

I think it’s clear Ellen’s mom suspects her for Danny’s death. Nobody knows a child like their mother. Her mom knows what her child is capable of.
