There is a special place in hell for companies that force you to download an app to get installation instructions, and then at that point you can't even get a pdf you have to go through a video.

I think that the old PC games based off of DND 2nd edition have never quite been matched in regards to the excitement I feel when finding a new magic item. "+3 mace?! HELL YEAH"
Which is really weird because newer games like BG3 and NWN had much more interesting and varied magic items.

Crossing beating Kingsfield (JP1) off the bucket list of video games. That was not nearly as obtuse or difficult as I had always thought it would be. Simple, atmospheric 3d free form dungeon crawling goodness.

If i had the Underworld games when they first came out my mind would have been absolutely blown.
I also would have been too dumb to ever beat them.
The creativity in 2 was stellar and despite some segments being a slog I was just waiting everyday to finish work so I could play more.
