Midday update on Hurricane #Erin Category 3 expected to strengthen back to cat. 4. Already heavy rainfall in Puerto Rico, along with flooding. Same situation as yesterday. Strong tropical storm force winds are expected Tuesday along the Bahamas with strong rip-currents high surf along the Carolinas.

Strong tropical storm force winds are expected Tuesday along the Bahamas with strong rip-currents high surf along the Carolinas.
#Erin is now a hurricane. Not an issue for landfall in the U.S. This storm will bring rough surf and rip-currents off the shore of the Turks and Caicos, and The Bahamas this weekend. The models do track this system close to the west side of Bermuda by Tuesday.

Tropical Storm #Chantal is already affecting the coastline off South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. Heavy rainfall will occur along the eastern half of South Carolina, and into North Carolina until late Monday. High surf and strong rip currents will be seen along the shoreline.
