China's actions show that the U.S. is vulnerable to economic pressure, and China has forced the administration to choose between further escalation or a humiliating climbdown.

Paul Levesque has missed some shows of late and it’s led to people saying his political priorities (not wrestling politics but US politics) have started to hurt the company. One person close to Levesque disagreed with this claim, saying that he has not missed any creative meetings and his schedule is all worked out in advance. So creative meetings of late that he hasn’t been at were not missed, but known in advance. But even those have and still do solidly back him have said that he wants to be Dana White, basically positioned to the crowd as the biggest star of the brand. TKO may want that as well, as fighters, like wrestlers, come and go, but Dana White is the constant in UFC and he’s the only one who can be the Dana White. Nick Khan can’t be that guy. Rhodes is a wrestler and can’t be that guy. Dwayne Johnson’s schedule doesn’t allow him to be that guy. One person even used the term “Dana-envy” to us. But he has missed some television tapings of late, some of which have been reported and others of which have not. However, one person near the top did say that they did not believe his attempt to become the Dana of the group have hurt the product at all. They said the product would be no different if he was around 24/7 or micro-managed everything like Vince McMahon did. There is a major consensus that things are better for everyone with him and charge rather than McMahon. The basic deal is that we had a passive aggressive leader (dictator was also used one person) who doesn’t like to micro-manage like his father-in-law did. Previously we had a control freak dictator who micro-managed every single detail. But while he’s not there 24/7, he stays on top of everything related to the product. John Cena’s final opponent scheduled for 12/13 for a Saturday Night Main Event in Washington, DC, will be Gunther according to current plans. Multiple WWE sources confirmed the name this past week with two saying that the current plan is for the company to build it up by announcing a tournament where the winner would face Cena, and Gunther would take the tournament. Keep in mind plans change frequently, but we also got a story board which listed the goals of where are going on major shows and the only match listed for that SNME event, and the final direction match past the obvious men and women Royal Rumble matches in January and Chamber matches in February, was Cena vs. Gunther for that show. They expect leading political figures to be invited and attend this show. Donald Trump has not confirmed coming. He has confirmed being at the Army vs. Navy football game. The game will be at M&T Stadium in Baltimore at 3 p.m. that day, so he easily, if we wanted to, could get to the show. The creative staff was shown a presentation for the UFC show on June 14, 2026, at the White House and they were told this would be the biggest sports event in American history. Right now the belief is there will be a ton of people from the White House at the show, but Trump is undecided at the moment, but a lot of major people have already told WWE they are coming.
