I have 3 degrees, an MA in War Studies, 14 years uniformed service, attended staff college. I have 25 years experience teaching JK-12. I have been actively shot at in theatre.
Teaching elementary is far more stressful and soul destroying than anything I ever experienced in the Canadian Forces.

Been a peculiar fall. Exploring new educational opportunities and learning more deeply how the sausage of education actually is made. Have had my head down doing some personal work as well. Indeed, I can actually build a functional bow - after some false starts. Next projects will be more refined.

It would be interesting to see what monkeyshines they're conducting in Canada as well. Much CPC/UPC messaging reeks of Russia-infused MAGA meddling. I see much of our media is US owned with an implied narrative to follow.

Is You Tube frustrating you too? I counted and see commercials are increasing, 9now at 2-4 commercials per 10 minutes). But if you buy a subscription it's all good, man.
It feels like a shake-down racket.

Seeing across the prov issues in public ed that are really harming all. Home-School-Class is the triangle. When one fails, it affects all. We need to do a full reboot of public education based on the community's priorities. Without that participation, we're just duct-taping the holes in Titanic.
