It is not sufficient to simply "wait until President Trump clarifies his thinking." He is a convicted felon, a known fascist, and a bully—his words and actions must be met with unequivocal condemnation.

Aotearoa New Zealand is an independent nation with its own voice, and it is both troubling and unacceptable that such remarks, particularly regarding ethnic cleansing in Gaza, have gone unanswered. Failing to address them is, at best, a dereliction of responsibility and, at worst, complicity.
