For the head, I prop it up on a stand, let it drip most of the water out (I can also squeeze some of it out) once it's not dripping anymore I take it in the living room and sit it in front of a fan until it's dry

I have zippers on the tail so I take out the stuffing before I wash it, once that's done I throw both the tail and the paws in the washing machine on spin cycle, that gets rid of most of the water and then hang up to dry (with lost of brushing while it's drying)
