I’m the crow looking at my parents/teacher/PI/partner every time I do something trying to please them 😂
A two column comic. It depicts a conversation between a dragon on a pile of gold and a crow. Dialogue and panel descriptions: 1. The dragon sits on its pile of gold looking down at the crow on the ground in front of the gold pile and says, “So, I want you to guard the entrance of my lair and instill fear in trespassers!” 2. The crow has its beak open with a piercing stare and says, “Okay!” “Dark!” “Death!” “Scary!” 3. The crow looks up toward the dragon with a pleased expression like a dog who did a trick and waits for a treat. “Good bird?” Air asks the dragon. 4. The dragon’s eyes narrow and it looks disappointed and miffed at the crow’s attempt at intimidation. “… No.” “You’ll have to look more serious than that.” 5. The crow shrinks down a bit, the puffs its feathers up and says, like a soldier responding to a drill sergeant, “Beware!” “Grave!” “Danger!” 6. With an excited flutter and as big of a grin as a beak can make, the crow asks, “Great crow!?” 7. “Still not it,” says the dragon, turning its nose up and away from the crow beneath it. “You need to be ominous. Bring darkness and misfortune.” 8. The crow looks shocked and a little sad, deflated almost. 9. Then, the crow ruffles its feathers and looks like it attempts to tap into a very scary part of itself. 10. Like a demonic creature, the crow’s feathers flare into black fire and its eyes glow with dark power with its wings pulled up and back in a threatening posture. It screeches in a haunting voice, “EXCELLENT CORVID!!”
