He/him
I had a friend that was abused by her step father growing up. I called the police anonymously multiple times. He would always tell the police she ran into a doorknob or fell down some stairs.

He never once was arrested or charged.

Is it possible to win BlueSky? Because I think you just won BlueSky.

This is why I have always preferred the winter olympics.

Summer: let's see how well you can jump.

Winter: Let's see how well you can jump. While dancing with a partner who threw you in the air. On ice. In an outfit that would let one catch a chill in the summer. With knives on your shoes.

The part that pisses me off is 49% of Texas voted Dem in Cruz's last election but 66% of our Representatives and 100% of our Senators are Republican. And they tried to make the maps even more lopsided and that chud Ted Cruz has the audacity to complain. The hypocricy is literally painful.

I think they need to use the powers the Rs used so they remember why it is dangerous to allow this, then set up guardrails.

*over not o er

But I am hopeful this win will make them realize that Dems can win when they turn out. Rehmet didn't just win, he beat Wigs by 15 points in a Trump+17 district – a 32 point swing.

As a resident of the 9th senate district who beat my friends and family o er their heads to go vote, I can say that in my experience the problem is a combination of gerrymandering and political defeatism. Most of them asked what the point was to go vote when the republican is going to win anyways.

Like, at this point Walz's AG needs to indict Noem and the individuals in the video for Conspiracy and capital murder and if SCOTUS says no, they need to tell SCOTUS to kick rocks.

They won't stop until "agents" and the ones giving the orders start going to jail.

Every time centrists have said "let them take an inch now and we'll get it back later" has been tried in history, it has failed. The 5/9ths compromise. The Missouri compromise. Appeasement. The current moment in US history is no different.

Again, no thanks. If we go down, we go down swinging.

And yet, these are the same people that shame and try to criminalize mothers for breast feeding in public places.
December 9, 2025 at 11:03 AM
No thanks. I have had enough of milquetoast "tough centrists" never getting anything useful done as we slide further towards fallen empire. Let's at least put out best ideas forward and not the idea that everything will fix itself if we just "maintain the status quo even harder."

Harder, maybe, but still not enough. That is like an average person getting a $10 fine. Needs to be 120 billion before he'll notice.

81 years ago, FDR proposed a second Bill of Rights to guarantee every American the right to employment, healthcare, education, housing, and a living income. His words are as relevant now as they were then. Watch.
