I have had good luck with Namecheap.
If you care about owning an easily repairable and accessible ebike, I would avoid Velotric. I’m hoping big reviewers like @electrek.co start putting company support and parts to the test. I don’t think their reviews will be as glowing if they did.
Traded my Tesla in for a @fordmotorsofficial.bsky.social Mach-E.

Tesla makes an incredible vehicle, but I can’t support that brand anymore. The Mach-E has been pretty great so far.
@electrek.co Have you heard anything about the Federal point of sale tax credit portal still being closed? My mother is hoping to buy an EV from Hertz and utilize the used federal credit, but Hertz is telling her portal is still down? @brandenflasch.bsky.social?
My new favorite emoji.

Tires, they really make such a huge difference. Second is maybe the shifter. Such a tactile part of riding.
Feedly. It’s great
Switched to induction a year ago and will never go back to gas. So much more precise and even.
Lots of 3D printer tinkering this week. I’m still amazed at how good a $99 printer can be with a handful of software and hardware tweaks.
Cleaned up the wiring and control box location on my Lectric Xpedition today, the bike is nearly silent now.
Made Alton Brown’s peanut butter fudge. So simple, so delicious. altonbrown.com/recipes/pean...
If you just updated your Tesla with the holiday update and wish you had the awesome Rivian lock chirp sound to use, send me a message. I’ll extracted it from video and it works so well.

If libraries aren’t allowed to own digital books, we can’t preserve them either. You might not be able to access your favorite digital book next week, let alone share it with your grandkids one day 🕳️
Agreed. Will finish it today and I’m sad it’s over. A great read.
It’s better on rewatch too. So many jokes layered in.
Wow, solid price for a big place!
How many square feet?
Not too bad. Last year was grim with the artificially high supply rates from National Grid. So far this winter has been more reasonable. I also have solar which helps offset.
All electric home here, heat pumps. Between 30 and 60 each day
I live in the northeast of the US and love our heat pumps. It’s our sole source of heating and cooling, and has performed incredibly well .
Added some more smart switches and motion sensors to Home Assistant today. If you want a smart home that isn’t at all cloud dependent, check out Home Assistant. It’s so good.
Anyone else have zero turkey today? I’m here for the sides only.
