🫀Delta-opioid receptor protein levels increased in failing hearts of humans& rats. Blocking cardiac DOR selectively reduced morphine-induced cardio protection by inhibiting the Janus kinase signal transducer and activator of the transcription-3 pathway

💉In adjusted analyses, administration of nondepolarizing neuromuscular blocking agents (ND-NMBAs) was dose-dependently associated with a higher risk of postoperative delirium, which was eliminated by reversal agent administration (neostigmine or sugammadex).
