The third repeat continues the stripes but I did not put it fully in the chart because the pattern goes too small on the page if I do. Hoping that makes sense! The decreases for the repeats are on 24 stitches; it should all work out fine!

Hi Deb—thanks for the feedback. The pattern is basically the Malcolm X beanie with a different motif; to notice is that the motif *overlaps* the first and third repeats. So in the PDF you can see I’ve given a blue border to the repeat section which is 24 stitches….

Absolutely! That’s amazing, thank you! I think I have enough testers now, but anyone who wants to get started on a beanie is more than welcome! I think it will be nice to have a bunch of samples go up at the same time on Ravelry when I put up the final pattern. 🙏🏽

I am in awe of anyone who can use those! The other nice thing is that my #1 fear with DPNs—dropping stitches—is now gone with the 2 circulars….and the cramping is definitely a thing! Good luck! 🌞

Especially for sleeves, I use extra-long circulars and then I can work on both sleeves at the same time. Roxanne Richardson’s YouTube channel has some great tutorials on the two circulars method. Good luck! #knitsky #knitting 🧶

I am going to recommend a method that doesn’t seem to get any credit…knitting on two circular needles. My issue with magic loop is that the cable pulls and ladders stitches if it is too short/rigid. Plus for me it is a bit fussy. I use two circulars for all of my small circumference knitting.
