Now that the LibDems are below the Greens in the polls, will Ed Davey realise that appearing stand-up at live at the Apollo is not the way to get the public’s support? Time for LibDem MPs to call time on his hopeless leadership.

Lady Clementine was talking to a street sweeper. "What did you talk about?” Asked Churchill
She smiled, "Years ago he was madly in love with me."
Winston said,”So you could have been the wife of a street sweeper today"
′′Oh no, my love, had I married him, he would have been the Prime Minister today.

Ive never understood the concept of ‘winning’ a mandate?

Nuno’s strategy of not having his best West Ham side on the pitch until 20 minutes from the end doesn’t seem to be working.
October 24, 2025 at 9:06 PM
Clearly not a managerial problem at West Ham; the club is clearly populated with crap players. How does Pacqueta stay on a football pitch for 90 minutes. The hammers need fighters not posers!

At last……….so what are you going to do about it?

‘Venezuela announced on Monday it would close its embassy in Oslo, days after opposition leader María Corina Machado was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize’

What’s the betting Norway get lumped with extra ‘Trump’ tariffs soon?

‘We do not take an oath to a king, or a queen, to a tyrant or dictator. We do not take an oath to any individual. No, we take an oath to the Constitution, to the idea that is America, and we're willing to die to protect it.’

Former US Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair, General Mark Milley.

If this happens at the next general election it will be the direct fault of this Labour Government who are clearly only interested in power (like Reform) not DEMOCRACY!

Good start from ‘the Holy Ghost’ well done Hammers.

@keirstarmer.bsky.social @uklabourparty.bsky.social With Starmer proposals placing everyone’s confidential data on a ‘central’ database called an ID system, it will be much easier for Farage and his right wing cronies to round the people up he dislikes and deport then via ‘BritICE’ Thanks Labour!

@libdems.org.uk I’m sure Ed Davey is a nice chap but the LibDems need a statesmanlike leader with gravitas, not stunts that the electorate cannot take seriously. The conference got v little attention. When are the Parliamentary Party going to make changes to get media attention for its policies?

15 Sept marks International Day of Democracy. Set up by the UN to promote/protect democracy around the world.

However, we’re still stuck with a voting system that distorts public opinion, silences millions of voices and deprives communities of power over their own lives.

#DemocracyDay #PRnow.

I like Graham Potter, but this must surely be the end for him. His ability to motivate players into a winning unit looks hopeless. Not helped with a useless Chairman and Board of course. Who was responsible for buying that useless keeper?

@mrjamesob.bsky.social

ID Cards would not have helped this situation:

German Officer ‘Vot is your name?’

Mainwaring ‘Don’t tell him Pike!’

I’ve been supporting West Ham since 1972 (53 years) and I can safely say that this the worst bunch of (over-paid) no hope players I’ve ever seen represent our club. How does the club remove the useless dwarf at the top who is responsible for recruitment and wages and get a better run club?

It is time for Lib Dems to replace Ed Davey with someone who is an excellent communicator & more in touch with 2025 methods of public engagement.

Yes, he doesn’t get enough media attention, but I don't think he has what it takes to move them into opposition.

Plenty of new talent in the party.

Email your MP about scrapping First Past The Post (FPTP) for Mayoral elections
On the 2nd of September, MPs will debate abolishing First Past the Post for Mayoral and PPC elections. Since the system was introduced, it has resulted in Mayors being elected on as little as 25% of t...

Why does Sullivan insist on recruiting old has-been strikers to West Ham. Having got rid of Ings we are saddled with Wilson, another waste of space player drawing off the wage bill that could instead be used for young players of the future.

Why are folks surprised? QT has been a Reform media vehicle for years now. It’s disgraceful! I haven’t watched it for ages. The BBC is generally pretty useless.
