My staff was nearly moved to non-exempt because of the federal overtime rules. But the nature of the job makes it really difficult to do as non-exempt. Does my team clock hours anytime they run into a student in the community and answer questions about the university?

I’m sitting in a meeting at work and hearing a university president talk about a 90 credit bachelor degree (3 years to complete). Right now bachelor degrees are 120 credits (4 years to complete). Good idea or no?

I’ve been telling a lot of my students that not making a decision is still making a decision. Sounds similar to do things more because not doing something is still doing something. Just not as fun.
