it's really unfortunate, too because a story where NATO member states withdraw and some join with a PMC turned de-facto joint arms pact could be a really awesome and compelling story if the actual political tensions and reasons are actually explained.

it's a shame, thought, cause bf1 and bfv both have pretty good campaigns. I like their little vignettes and I think that serves the games a LOT more than trying to create a completely new narrative of a fake war.
