Am I happy that there is a ceasefire? Hell yeah, but at the same time it doesn't feel... idk, for lack of a better word "rewarding". Stick with me for a second - yeah, there's a ceasefire but Palestinians in Gaza have nothing. Literally, just dust and sud.

I engaged in 4 debates with Israeli supporters on Twitter today. Hated every second of it because if I am stubborn and hard headed, idk the appropriate word for them. But I got through to one? At lease he asked (seemingly in good faith) for academic sources to learn so I count that as a win

Though tbh I don't feel I had to, because I remember when I was a kid we would go once a year on a vacation. Usually Egypt, Turkey etc. and I used to be so jealous of the people boarding planes to Tel Aviv. Idk why, I was a kid... And she was adamant about not going there

I just realised I am supposed to be going to the UK next month and haven't book jack shit so far... One show is sold out, hotels in north of England are more expensive than in London.

Mind you the old progressive/pro-western government did not. They only yapped about about Israel's right to defend itself, how they support two-state solution only to vote against it in the EU/UN every chance they got and the foreign minister even called UN declaring it a genocide ridiculous.
