1) Interesting how all of modern British nationalism is for, but often quite lukewarm on the monarchy

28 Years Later is one of the best films I've ever seen. It's one of the great family movies kids need to see, they make England look nice, the Swedish fuckboy is my spirit animal, and the big zombie dude has the fattest hog I've seen outside of my DMs

I have a sneaking suspicion that things like the Thermian Argument happen primarily because people can in fact have radically different ways of engaging with fiction to the point that discussion of it becomes kind of impossible, and I'm not entirely sure how to feel about that

It fucking sucks that I have to keep dodging spoilers for Sinners because I desperately want to see it, but I can't find a good version of it online and no cinema near me will show a version that isn't dubbed. Seriously, THUNDERBOLTS gets a showing of the original version, but not this? Unacceptable
