Hey @playhearthstone.bsky.social - thank you for the Core Set for the Year of the Scarab! I love seeing class identity being deleted from the game. Nice that Rogue now has horribly costed plays with no upside or combo enablers, that Warrior doesn't remove boards and Priest is still dead. Great job!

While I'm on sick leave, my current company already looked to replace me. They just announced my job position on LinkedIn. I'm at a loss of words.

Did some art therapy. Was encouraged to use colours to express whatever I was feeling. Today I felt numb, at my lowest low, as if I had sank to the bottom of the ocean or the bottom of a pit. It was almost surprising that these were the (unintentional) outputs

I dreamt of a weird movie: a teenager who was the son of a female stripper and a male sex worker. They divorce and the teenager eventually finds out about their jobs and starts blackmailing both parents to give him more and more money until it turns out the kid is a psycho

I'm about to lose my Latino card but I'll say it: I actually started appreciating the beauty of neutral colours. Soft beiges, warm whites and so on. I still love my maximalism and vibrant, hueful colours but sometimes neutrals do bring that sense of peace and reset.

Not that anyone actually reads me here lol. But I was away recovering from shingles. Single handedly the most painful thing I have experienced and it's worse than surgery pain or fractures. Go get your herpes zoster vaccine.

Thinking about how I ruined my career by being greedy and wanting to be paid a better salary.
Now I’m well paid but unhappy and every day I wonder how things could have been if I had accepted my lifeline outside marketing back in 2023.

I disagree with the definition of Kitsch as something just tawdry/excessive. Kitsch needs to be tied to mass production and consumption in order to be Kitsch. La Sagrada Familia is a stunning undertaking of architecture and engineering, like the pyramids in Egypt/Mexico/Indonesia.

I love HS and have played for almost a decade but I draw the line in their delay to acknowledge a mistake, intentionally design a mistake, charge people money for the same mistake AND not take any meaningful action other than ask for our faith in the future of the game. This is how you kill HS.

This drove me to uninstall the game everywhere and quit HS for good. You can’t sell a product in bad faith. They are treating the current expansion as a dev loan for the next two or three expansions and asking that you please keep playing because SURELY in the future the game will work? Hell no.

The toilet in my office stays inside another closed room and there’s a delay on the light switch. Every time I go pee, I turn on the lights outside, enter, close the door and stay under perfect darkness for like 5 seconds. No light leaks inside. It’s amazing.
