also elsen dialogue is 10/10. fun birdie fact i first played off in the middle of an anxious breakdown and the elsen made me cry so hard i had to reevaluate how i was dealing w my anxiety. im glad it feels the same in this game

-EXCEPT the pepper steak replacement. i was jamming to that so hard. also it changes per zone which i didn't expect and that was a nice surprise!!

i have mixed feelings on the new ost. not bc i think its bad, i just miss the old ost so much. it def doesn't feel the same walking into elsen town without desperately safe playing.

again i don't think the new tracks are bad, i really like them, but i don't think any are better than the old ost-

i do think also combat feels cleaner. maybe its because i'm actually engaging with it instead of just hitting auto (which they took out btw) but it's a lot more streamlined and fun now. my og copy i played on was bugged somehow and i didn't get any animations in battle so its nice to see them now

i have to say first off i think all the qol they added (new battle screen, new shop/equip/pause menus, etc) is so so needed. i'm such a fan of how this game looks As A Game and i think they did a really good job of adding new assets that don't feel new at all

okay i finished no sleep for kaname date and it was such a banger. i love gay people
