fuck the dungeon design in this game too, it's just unnecessarily tedious lmao. Music is fantastic though, if nothing else. I just wish I actually had more fun playing the game past like the opening bits

yeah I'm just... very whatever on FF2. I think the way leveling works is neat in concept but it doesn't feel particularly great in terms of gameplay. I don't think it's a bad game at all or anything but at the same time, it's definitely my least favorite of the FF games I've played
