It’s true that the security and political landscapes still hold some challenges, but I sincerely believe Libya is moving toward a more stable phase.
We must stand together to protect our oil resources, they are the heartbeat of our nation and the most valuable reserves in Africa.
At last, the infrastructure of our oil sector is beginning to receive the attention it has long lacked, new pipelines and refinery projects are flourishing across the country. This means we are unlocking the vast potential of Libyan oil for a better future for everyone.
It’s truly wonderful to see major global companies like ExxonMobil and BP returning to Libya after such a long absence. It gives me genuine hope — we are ready to proudly reclaim our position as Africa’s largest holder of oil reserves and as a leading force in the energy sector.
Libya has vast resources, a unique location, and resilient youth. With transparency, professionalism, and innovative private sector partners, our energy sector can unlock fairness, create opportunity, and place Libya among the world’s energy leaders.
On 29 June 2025, Libya’s Supreme Court closed one chapter and opened another. To move forward, we need trusted experts and dedicated professionals to guide our energy sector so it truly drives stability, opportunity, and growth for our people.
