Whole-genome sequencing of 𝘌𝘱𝘪𝘣𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯 strains shows they're built for freezing environments, with freeze-tolerance proteins. These #moss- and #lichen- dwelling #fungi have now been shown to be a distinct lineage within 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘦𝘵𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘺𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘴.

Our new IMA Fungus paper is out. We have studied the metabolites of some TCM fungi during Infection of the insect hosts and found that certain compounds accumulated in the insect carcass that traditionally forms part of TCM drugs. Thanks to @MSCActions for funding
