And a few more shots from the #WorldZombieDay walk today in London. There was even a preview to the (hopefully not apocalyptic) budget day. 😉 Pic set at Alamy Live News.

A few shots from the #WorldZombieDay walk today. Haven't shot this for a few year, great fun and lots of scary but nice zombies out for a sunny apocalypse in London. Pic set

Dear men. Those 'vegan tampons'? They're not tampons, they're hand towels. There to encourage you to, you know, wash your hands after you've touched yourself down there. You're welcome.

One of the best allegories for Brexit I've seen.

People complaining about "broken Britain" and then voting for Farage at every election be like ...

Of the dog? Yes, but they are all on paper in photo albums. She wasn't mine, she lived at a holiday let in the Dolomites where my family went a few times every year for many years, and we had a lovely bond. I cried buckets every time we left after a few weeks, and I cried buckets when she died.

Thank you. Yes, she is one of the museum staff and very kindly posed. Credit for the fab interiors goes to the National Portrait Gallery, who planned out this corridor leading to the Hepburn photos very well.

I wish I had more time, would have one in an instant (of course I'd still have the cat, too!) Very fond childhood memories of a cocker spaniel - they are so loyal.

Great. Can we start with Harrods and Selfridges, please? Let's turn them into housing for the homeless (plenty sadly sleep outside those very stores, so it's only fair if they get to move in)

And some shots from the lovely 'Cecil Beaton’s Fashionable World' photocall at the National Portrait Gallery. Lots of stunning images on display, a real feast for the eye, I have always loved all that stylish old Hollywood glamour. Pic set at the agencies.

I don't often go to shoot the auction house photocalls, but the Christie's 20th/21st Century London Evening Sale preview this morning was very enjoyable. Pic set at the agencies.

It's Hodge's house, so I guess that's a totally normal place or him to sit.

A few shots from the press preview of the new Joy Gregory 'Catching Flies with Honey' exhibition at Whitechapel Gallery today. Nice to be back at that gallery, haven't done a photocall there for a while. Plus I always enjoy wandering around Whitechapel, too.

A few shots from the new Gilbert & George '21st CENTURY PICTURES' exhibition yesterday at the Hayward Gallery. Lovely to have the artists there. I've always found them fascinating, being part of their own art must be liberating, and somewhat strenuous at the same time. Pic set at the agencies.

At Southwark Cathedral this morning, Hodge the cat was ready to preach a sermon from the pulpit

I really thought that after the horrible covid years, we all deserved a break, could get on with trying to address urgent things like climate change, hunger, diseases, global conflicts. How naive was I?

And a few shots of the commemoration to mark two years since October 7 attacks in Israel, on Trafalgar Square today. Pic set also at Alamy Live News.

A few shots from the the lovely Original Pearly Kings and Queens Association Harvest Festival at St Martin-in-the-Fields. Love photographing the Pearlies, we got to hear a rendition of 'Maybe it's because I'm a Londoner', too. Pic set at Alamy Live News

Yes, it's lovely. Especially in the morning, when not so many visitors are around. You can half-lie down on the comfy, padded benches in the middle and just stare at that ceiling (many people do). Greenwich is a lovely day out, the park, observatory, museums, ORNC, village, indoor market and shops.

And if it is happening in the US, it can happen in its closest allies, who are economically dependent on the US and have dithering governments. Deeply worrying.

On this sunny, hopefully quiet & peaceful Sunday, perhaps we should all take a brief look at history and the terrifying SS, their ideology, modus operandi and awful crimes they committed in Germany. I thought that it would never happen again. Please reassure me it won't.

Quoting this from Miss Chief's account, as she didn't post it on Bluesky. I agree. There is no place for hatred.
