Another shot completed for the first episode!

What might this shot be? The lights are so dim on set that I have to turn on a temporary light between frames to see what I’m capturing. The shot turned out well in the end.

This is what the set looked like last week just before animation began.

This is Tiny, he likes to help any time there are boxes in his sights.

The Dragonframe controller box has a new purpose. Keeping the replacement faces safe.

Jen has a few more faces that were successfully printed out! I hope to get the primer in the mail soon so I can paint them up.

Progress from last week showing the rough lighting setup. Once I start shooting with the DSLR, I can hone everything in for the 1st episode.

The lighting setup for the main set is coming along. I still need to wire in all the practical lighting. With the basics set up it should help to figure things out. www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmCn...

The LED 3000 will let me control all the little powered LED's on the set for the /IMAGINE project. I'll just run the wires from the lit props to the box using a male adapter to plug and unplug them as needed!

Some new 3-D objects that have to be printed on the resin printer. They include Jen's joystick, desk lamp and her TV remote control.

What's this? A bench? Yes, and Jen's Imaginator will sit on top.

What is this all seeing eye on Jen's wall? It represents the viewers of her existence...unseen but ever present.

Jen's camera is completed! It's how she will take all those still pictures for her stop motion projects. But what brand is that exactly?
July 24, 2025 at 8:18 AM
CAT T.V. go go go! It's Cuddly Automated Tyranny yeaaaahhh!! Jen's television set is complete. It will feature the only channel available. CAT T.V. which of course, there's only one in the somewhat dystopian future.

Jen comes to life! I plan to use AI to help make her move, but only for scenes where I can't physically do the animation. For example where she is holding a tiny screwdriver and has to screw in an even smaller screw. This shows how the AI can blend with a real physical puppet.

Jen's window to the world is her PC, which is reminiscent of an old 80's computer. The screen is temporary and will have a proper one for the films. Inside, LED's light up the parts with power coming from an old AC adapter.

Jen is a stop motion animator, so of course she needs a DSLR!Here's the camera design and the 3-D version that I made in Autodesk 123D. The tripod will be kind of tricky to make, both using printed parts, brass tubes and a ball and socket joint when it's done.

What would a computer be without a subwoofer? Here's one that I designed to be 3-D printed in resin soon. It has replacement speakers for animation. They will be stuck on with sticky wax.

In Jen's studio, she stays organized by putting tons of things on her shelves. Here are some pictures of some I 3-D printed. I also smashed aluminum wire to make the little curly details.

Eileen made some really nice emotes for our Discord of Jen and Hop. She chose the style, I wasn't sure what to expect but think they turned out awesome. Thank you Eileen!

Here's the completed work bench where Jen will make a lot of her creations.

This computer desk may need a little more grime, but it's one more item item to check of the to-do list!
