Some pigeons from last weekend. One of them sadly had an injured leg as it hopped around instead of walking. But at least it was very lively. Rooting for it to get better ✌️

A red squirrel was having a self-care moment and chilling out after chow time. 🐿️💤
Fun fact squirrels are most active during mornings and later in the afternoon. In the middle of the day they like to rest high in the tree canopies. Of course during atumn they are more active than usual :3

Squirrels pictures never end :3 🐿️🤎
This one with more brownish fur color. It was calmly eating a walnut on a tree brunch. I spotted it from quite far. Proud of these close-ups.

Black and red squirrels 🧡🐿️🖤
All shot yesterday (05.10.2025)
The park was full of them running around collecting nuts for their caches.
The black one was especially skittish, but with a bit of patience it was approaching closer and closer each time. My boyfriend even got to feed it :3

I decided to ge a bit bolder with how I approach them to take photos. I'm really proud of this one 😊

And yeah I've spent most of today as well feeding and photographing squirrels. So expect more of those in the upcoming days ^^

Finally got my hands on some Pyromorphite last week! Very few minerals can match the intensity of its green color. Love how this specimen looks like a miniature jungle. (Gute Hoffnung mine, Germany)

More squirrel pictures from yesterday. This one was super friendly. Once it figured out that I have some hazelnuts it hastly leaped to grab some from my hand and burry it or eat it. It even let me scratch its belly while feeding it. Love this little bby 🐿️

More squirrel shots from the park. Today we even found a black-furred one there. We called him Chatterfang just like that one mtg card 🖤💚🐿️
This one was very cautious and didn't want to approach.

They were hanging near each other. The rook was eating a walnut and the jackdaw was waiting for chance to grab some.

Harlequin or Asian lady beetle / Biedronka azjatycka (Harmonia axyridis) 🐞

This ladybird was very good model for macro.
Fun fact the Harlequin ladybird is an invasive specie in Poland. You can usually tell that it's Harlequin because it's bigger, has 0-23 dots and various colors

Very cute ducks I encountered in botanical garden in Kraków. They were swimming in a pond full of water lilies. One of the ducks was frolicking a lot :3

I'm very happy with the shot of it when it drinks water :)

Common kestrel / Pustułka (Falco tinnunculus)

This one is a female. Males usually have gray head and slighlty more saturated plumage.
After few tries of sneaking around for couple of days I was able to get close enought to take this photo ✌️ Very satisfying!

Eurasian red squirrel / Wiewiórka pospolita (Sciurus vulgaris)... but black 🐿️🖤
Shot a week ago (14/09/25) on a sunday walk after rain.
I think it lives very close to me so I want to see if I'll be able to encounter it again 🤞
I belive this is also a red squirrel, but with darker fur color.
