In not so warm evening, a wandering druid and her canine friend make a stop at a small and peculiar settlement where creatures of all kind peacefully gather. Asking for supper, but lacking in way of money, our midlander comes up with an idea. Spotting a lute lying among the crates of jumble that the Qiqirns regularly barter with outsiders, she propose to brighten up the evening of the little beings with songs and tales of folklore. Thus did they all gather around the hearth, to listen and share the warmth. The night doesn't seem so chilly anymore.

I was admitted to the hospital for emergency surgery at the end of finals week last Dec. I found out my college’s health service charged me $200 for saying “go to the ER” that day - to be fair, they were right. Today my primary care provider dropped me after I got on Medicaid, leaving me with $400 of bills after all possible aid. My job ended with the semester. I’m trying to get a new part-time job that will work around grad school, but it’s been a huge challenge for too many reasons to list. So, right now Mara is supporting me and their mom, who hasn’t been able to work since an injury this fall. I feel awful asking bc so many people are in worse situations.
