Really useful insights here @britishfuture.bsky.social highlighting divisions & tensions which exist in 1 yr on from the riots. But at a local level people often feel that those from different backgrounds get on well. Stronger community cohesion is possible but it needs significantly more funding

I wouldn’t wish a detention centre on anyone, let alone on people who are forced to come to the UK because they have no other choice.
