For some reason, these last reply of yours doesn't appear on my notification feed, I actually found this by clicking on my own reply 🤔
I guess it's not post quantum encryption tho, but neither is nextcloud if you use it on the internet
That's why I went with a E2EE cloud storage :)
I mean self hosting file instance, I moved to cloud for better reliability and data integrity
Never, but I'm not really into self hosting my cloud anymore. Seem cool tho
Yeah I agree, I used it for years
I think that if you use the official obsidian it's E2EE but it's not free nor open source
Nextcloud is too heavy and maintaining a nextcloud instance is annoying lol
Thank for the suggestion, for some reason I don't like Obsidian especially the mobile app, but I should probably try again
It's not fast/userfriendly enough I guess, I want something fast, pulling, committing and pushing each time is slow, and if I add E2EE in that it'll be a nightmare to handle conflicts
Your project is not really what I'm looking for but it's kinda cool 😉

Anyway, you convinced me to try anyway so I'll give it a shot when I'll have some free time
Or the sync, I don't want to have my file overwritten because it didn't sync on the other device and it cause issues. I'm don't think I have enough confidence to do that. There is probably a design pattern that could help me with that.
I already thought about it, I know I could do it but I'll never have time to make it good enough, even with AI. And there's parts that I know less like E2EE that I never implemented (but i'd like to try tho)
I thought about it but for me a good note app include at least:
- Crossplatform app
- No concurrency/fast/easy sync
- Markdown + easy checkbox list
- Easy to organize notes in folders and subfolders
- multiple vault
- end to end encryption

So I concluded that I didn't have enough time to make that.
The app is becoming more and more buggy, and I'm kinda scared for the server side that hasn't any commit in the last 6 months...
Standard notes is kinda bad now. It was a great app but they almost stopped all development since @proton.me bought them, but apparently they were hiring after that?
It would be nice to have now on what is happening, are they working on a new app to include in Proton environment or something?

do you ever just look at a wild sea and think "i'd kill it as an 18th century sailor instead of managing APIs for a living"?
That's pretty cool 🫨
"sorry I meant one day"
First time using a fax machine, I didn't know that there's was 56k modem built inside some printers

Hey I fixed it, you can listen to me now
If a hacker wants to listen through my computer, he needs to fix my microphone driver first 😎
