from there it was just finishing the rendering, blurring some points, and then giving you guys what you got. Sure I still see things I can go in and fix, but I'm still really happy with what I did come up with.

there was a point where I was happy with the plain backdrop outside, just showing all the reds. But something felt a little off. So I drew some squares. added some windows and lighting, then removed some windows lol. Brought the whole outside together, to me, it solidified him being alone much more.

decided, I hated the first face. So I redid it. It just goes to show that something might not necessarily be done, even though you've moved past that step. Things can always still be improved.

I literally had a whole moment where I didn't like how centered he was in the booth, so I pushed him closer to the window, well after he was inked and coloured. But again, it added so much more, made him look lonelier.

the very first couple of sketches, which literally was just a discussion on how far his hat should be from him on the bench lol
that hat still didn't stay in that spot, it moved a couple times.

I've never done a full illustration like this before, so I made sure to plan it out in advance. One of them was drastically different than the others, but even the subtle difference between some of them gave it a much different mood.

this did so well, way better here than I ever thought that it would. Does it have the thousands of interactions that others do, no, but it still blew well past what I'm used to. So thank you guys so much. Check this thread out to see progress images that I spammed friends with while drawing this.
