I went to a class about mushrooms on Sunday. It was fantastic: a walk to find some, inoculating a log and then cooking mushrooms.
Fascinating creatures. Now I want to learn more about them.

Tests for frozen pond combos since the piece cracked.

Ceramic fruit bowl that cracked and I used it to test combinations of glazes following the frozen pond technique.
There are 12 combinations using either black (obsidian - left side) or red (snapdragon - right side).

My two cents: I like the overall look of both with slightly preference to the first one but find difficult to see details on the video. Maybe pictures would be better to help picking one?

I’ve been traveling to discover things I knew were there yet what I saw is even better than any dream!
I’m particularly impressed by the conservation programs for the Hyacinth Macaw (Blue Macaw) and the Brazilian Jaguar (Onçafari).

A Blue Macaw couple. Amazing birds on top of a tree. You can’t only see some branches from the tree.

A unique nocturnal bird from Pantanal in Brazil. Looks like an owl but is not. This one is mostly white. I learned they stay on the same branch for days while nesting. Impressive! This one is sitting on top of a branch which matches its colors creating a great camouflage.
