I’ve been reading up on NAS so I can get one during the Black Friday sales, and stumbled upon this video. It’s over 30 minutes long but very comprehensive, and I guess I now know all I need to know to buy my first ever NAS.

When Apple introduced Workout Buddy during WWDC, I knew it wasn’t for me. But I wanted to try it out anyway, and I did as soon as I updated to watchOS 26. I found myself thinking, “This is great. I’m going to use this all the time.” Fast forward to today, and that was the first and last time I used it.

But a lot of posts start differently: I just open Voice Memos on my phone, hit record, and later get the transcript to edit into an article.

Five years ago today, on 13th October, Apple introduced the iPhone 12 series. Apple is now known for launching new iPhones every September, and that was the plan in 2020 as well. But if you remember, the world was in lockdown, and the usual September keynote had to be postponed to October. Whilst the changes in the iPhone 12 series were mostly iterative, Apple brought back flat-edged sides for the first time since the iPhone 5s, and people loved it.
