Saturation and color choice really does just all depend on the piece tbf tho

Saturated colors for shadows and less saturated for lighting. I find it makes each of them stand out more from each other more and make the piece pop more. Some colors compliment others really well and some dont, you kinda just gotta figure it out which is what's hard (Holy yap LMAO)
