Confirmation that diet change (i.e. less meat and dairy, more beans and veg) plays no role in UK Gov's decarbonisation plan - they're opting instead for 'precision feeding', methane-suppressing supplements, and breeding programmes that aid intensification. Disappointing.

We had a very apeeling day at the Incredible Edible Barnet Apple and Pear celebration a few weeks ago.

I don't think the media realises they don't need to tell people to eat less meat to help climate and biodiversity issues, they just need to help people eat more beans (and other veggies)!

Absolute treat to find this little one in my garden this evening!
It was in an area that wouldn't have been easy for it to get out, so it was moved into the veg beds, where it can hopefully snack on all the visiting 🐌🐌🐌🐌
