Slow Gherkin played Supernova this year, and they killed!

The reason they played was due to major Visa issues that prevented many of the non-US bands from playing the festival this year.

I just finished the first draft of a new book. 70,000 words. It's a novel called Little Black Book of Death. I'm very excited about it. Going to take a little break then begin the REAL work (editing 😭)

I wasn't able to make it to the Slow Gherkin reunion in Santa Cruz, but by all accounts, it was EPIC!

They are playing Supernova International Ska Festival in a few weeks. If you can, get yer butt to Virginia and watch them set the festival on fire!

I just dropped an interview from my archives to the IDOS Patreon (Link in bio). Cris "The Wix" Qualiana is an important figure in 90s ska. She worked for Moon Records for a while. Then she got hired to run Hellcat Records when it was formed. She's also been on the cover of a few Slackers records!
