Which is ironic cause Dante canonically thought they were a dude at first 😭

I got nothing against comic to animated adaptations ( honestly, we need MORE especially right now. ) but I can't stand how writers will try to rush things when a comic has things perfectly paced out. . .

Like just follow the BLUEPRINT. . . And change things that are necessary!

The girls chemistry & they themselves in the OG comic were established so early on that it flows into them becoming a team naturally, but the animated series keeps going back and forth to the evil alternate dimension with HIM that it gives the girls LESS TIME to develop & the viewer to KNOW THEM.

In the middle of reading the OG W.I.T.C.H comic.

I took a mini break to watch episode one of the animated series, and I can't express enough how much better the comic is man. It's actually like night and day.
