Oh I like that! It sounds very efficient and also fulfilling. And how would you suggest someone who doesn’t experience spirits or the like go about forming a relationship like that? Just simple acts like talking to the plant? Learning about it?

That’s all really interesting! I don’t do have any spiritual allies, or deities, etc, and I’ve been exploring other avenues for witchcraft. Animism is incredibly interesting.

Witchy hot take: if spiritual experience such as sensing the presence of deity or hearing their voice is not the norm--especially for those of us who don't--then let's stop acting as if it is and come up with more advice on how people who don't experience those things can still feel the validation.
