The #Phillies released selfish, insubordinate Nick Castellanos, who responds with a bizarre farewell manifesto that would make Sam Hinkie proud.

Nick Castellanos released by Phillies then issues wild Instagram manifesto | Marcus Hayes
He comes clean about bringing a beer into the dugout during the game in which he ripped manager Rob Thomson in front of the players for replacing him in the field.

The best comparison for 33-year-old Sean Mannion isn’t Jon Gruden or Andy Reid.

It’s Kellen Moore, who was an OC at 29, who shares a history like Mannion’s, and whose ascension as Jerry Jones’ pet project Jeffrey Lurie watched with admiration.

As a coach, Sean Mannion looks a lot like Kellen Moore once did | Marcus Hayes
Jon Gruden and Andy Reid were much more experienced than is Mannion, whose resumé looks a lot like Moore's, on whom Jerry Jones took a huge risk in 2019.

In hiring Sean Mannion as OC and Josh Grizzard as pass-game coordinator, the #Eagles have a ready replacement for Mannion for when he gets poached as a head coach if things go well.

If things go poorly, it won’t matter, because Lurie’s gonna blow it all up.

When five-time major winner and LIV defector Brooks Koepa tees off just past noon today at the #Farmers, it will mark the beginning of the end of the golf wars. Sooner or later, they’re all coming back to the PGA Tour.

And, less than 24 hours before Koepka's first comeback tee time, Patrick Reed was welcomed back, too.

#Belichick should’ve gotten in on the first ballot, but apparently Hall of Fame voters in every sport hate cheaters.
(I don’t have a vote)

Bill Belichick’s cheating cost him first-ballot Hall of Fame induction | Marcus Hayes
Revenge is a dish best served cold as Beli-Cheat is haunted by Spygate and Deflategate. Seems like some Hall of Fame voters hate cheaters.

I don’t get the chance to watch many NFL games, but since the #Eagles got bounced I have. I caught up on this generation of color guys. Brady’s getting very good but Tony Romo … Yikes.

Ranking the NFL color guys: Tom Brady shines while Tony Romo struggles | Marcus Hayes
Maybe "Romo-stradamus" can rebound, but, as in the NFL, he'll never catch the G.O.A.T.
