Penultimate show of the year for me on Friday, at Green Door Store with M U M M Y and Crayola Lectern, plus a special Spratleys acoustic set! I’ve had the pleasure of working with these bands for many years, it’ll be like putting on a pair of comfy slippers!! #cardiacs #spratleys

Fun night at East Sussex Psychedelic Film Club!
We screened Barbarella, which is hilarious camp fun. Andrew O’Neill opened proceedings with some surreal comedy; I got to make them look trippy! #videofeedback #videoart

What a fantastic weekend with Sabres of Paradise, both amazing gigs, but last night in Brighton was particularly poignant. A pleasure and an honour to add colours and shapes!

I had an amazing time providing visuals for Sabres of Paradise at Drumsheds yesterday, an absolute joy to get to plug into that screen! Pity I couldn’t drag it along to tonight’s show in Brighton (though Concorde2 does have a nice new LED wall for me to plug into) #thesabresofparadise #drumsheds

If there’s one album that reminds me of this time of the year, it has to be ‘Maim That Tune’ by Fila Brazillia. I bought my copy during a time of great upheaval. Still a very emotive album for me, but in a positive and reflective way. youtu.be/uvNkKmROfKs?...

It’s the weekend! Burning Sky ‘Robust Porter’ is a great way to start. Fingers crossed I remain equally robust.

Five years ago today, @innerstrings.bsky.social filmed this beautifully simple video for Cheval Sombre’s ‘It’s Not Time’ in Lewes. A couple hundred miles away, I saw the same sunset after my mum’s socially distanced funeral. It remains one of the most profoundly moving things I’ve ever seen.

What a weekend! I had a blast doing visuals for Fat Dog, Silverwingkiller, Mount Palomar, Just For Fun, and the brilliant Working Men’s Club at Aviva Studios in Manchester… one of the best sounding live rooms I’ve ever been in.

Every now and then, I have a late night binge on Low records, and I’m reduced to tears. There’s something deeply moving even before the sadness of losing Mimi.

Thirty five years ago! I’m listening to Lush now, and I’m getting transported back to a great time in my life (only to get snatched back into the now). Wish I could spend longer absorbed in those early 90s memories.

One of the scariest things I’ve done in quite some time. I have huge respect for anyone who performs onstage alone.
