This study shows that DNA-mismatch-repair-deficient cell populations maintain high growth rates despite a high SNV burden of at least 50,000 mutations per cell. In these cells, the INDEL burden plateaus at approximately 16,000 per cell.

This study shows that higher glycogen deposition occurs in the liver but not in the muscle on GD 60 in low-body-weight fetuses. Abnormal deposition of glucose in the liver, which is required for fetal development at mid-gestation, may lead to retarded fetal growth.
