Huge problem with their plan to use ICE to menace people at the polls in 2026, as well. Yeah, make sure that the last thing people see before they cast their ballots is a bunch of dangerous, masked thugs harassing random abuelas. That'll definitely motivate voters to confirm your position of power.

His eyes are incredibly puffy. Barely open, watery. Don't think "TRUMP 2028" will even be his epitaph at this rate.

Easy to see why they think he's a fraud: studying the Bible and helping those in need isn't what they associate with clergy around their parts.

Believe it or not, Kia Dealers of America is a hotbed of Antifa action, and crushing the car dealership cartel will rob the lett of its strongest soldiers.

That's not fair: people have also harassed a lot of service workers in his name, which is like grassroots action if you squint hard enough.

Human v. robot competition can be enthralling, because it shows the strengths and limitations of our mortal forms and mushy brains. I loved the AlphaGo vs. Lee Sedol matches despite very iffy knowledge of Go.

So: we should replace half the NFL with robots. Half the teams or half of each team tbd.

We need to find a way to simulate the inconvenience of dialup. Too many families are spending all their time staring mutely at screens, and not holding complex multilateral summits over who can use the Internet or phone at what time of day and for how long. Teaches important life skills.

He's likely flying overseas, so to prevent clots from forming they're going to pump so many blood thinners into him that he'll have to wear chainmail gloves while signing documents lest a paper cut cause him to drain out completely.

I'd start working 1 hr/page prior to the due date (ie., 20 page paper was started 20h before), because it was the only way I could overcome my neurotic fussing over every punctuation mark. Had 3 papers in 3 days and I had no recollection of even writing the third; it got the best mark of the trio.

It's all Judge Roulette at this point. 9th Circuit spun the wheel and ended up with a Trump-majority panel despite Trump justices being outnumbered, so bye democracy.

Part of the reason Trump keeps doing these things: spin the wheel in enough places, and eventually you'll get a result like this.

Southampton had a crypto gambling sponsor last year (Rollbit) that is banned in the UK, most of the EU, USA, Australia and others. Not even their most sketchy sponsor (that'd be LD Sports, a company whose website consisted of stock photos including a squrrel). Football finance has become grotesque.

I followed him a couple weeks ago because he was reporting on the drone incursions into Poland. It's not particularly deep my man, and sweatily going through my followers list looking for ways to accuse me of being wrongthink-adjacent is a pretty silly hobby.

Nnever paid the slightest bit of attention to the "right wing freak gamers" that you're talking about. Literally the only Twitch political commentator sort I've ever watched was Hasan, because again: my politics broadly align with his. And he sucks! The left needs better online avatars than Hasan.
insipidtwaddle.bsky.social
I agree with the vast majority of Hasan's politics. I just think that he's a bad person, and there's going to be a moment when everyone will say "yeah, I always got bad vibes from the guy". So do it now!

Feel free to go through the rest of my following list and tell me that I'm a neocon though.

There's going to come a moment when a lot of prominent people on the left are going to feel the need to distance themselves from Hasan in a big way, and to those people: why wait. Beat the rush.

In WWI, the British Navy lost two subs sunk, four more damaged, and 105 killed in a battle against...no one. They just kept running into each other.

They'll end up matching with someone who also used ChatGPT for their Hinge profile, and the pair of them will have 40 adequate, largely uncommunicative years together. A love story for our era.

Nothing speaks to 2025 MLB like a guy who averages 95.6 on his fastball and barely throws it, because it's comfortably his worst pitch.
insipidtwaddle.bsky.social
They're also playing a game that a couple generations of conservative activists painstakingly rigged for this moment. It should be impossible to fuck this up, they were spotted 30 points and the refs are on their payrolls. And yet...

Bermuda triangulation: a political phenomenon whereby one's super-savvy messaging inexplicably causes them to disappear without a trace.

The secret to good chili is to add at least two ingredients that don't seem to belong in chili. Mine are bonito flakes and gochujang, but cinnamon/dark chocolate is a fantastic combination as well.

Inventing Prussia circa 1805 from first principles is a hell of a choice.

A rare instance of a literal scapegoat!

Goats fit this as well. I'm not a fan of goat meat, but after spending a bit of time with the goats my sister was keeping, I found myself increasingly in favour of *someone* eating them even if it wasn't me.

Absolutely fascinating to watch one vizier try and build a massive police state, while the other vizier is busy hollowing out the state capacity necessary for such a project, because they saw a woman in the FBI office or something.
