Always makes me smile, because Ramses was (don't know if still exists) a condom brand often found in vending machines back when I was a kid - either placed with cigarettes on the streets or in specific condom themed machines found at restrooms. 😄

No idea, might make sense to go for a park and rail in a case like Amsterdam. I'm not used to public transportation as here it's usually a disadvantage if even a chance to find some. Big cities are different, but you're usually stuck on the way home close midnight.

I'm not that metropolitan in general. We usually have an Airbnb in the middle of the country, trying to avoid living in the hot spots. Hence the car, we travel around from our base. I liked what I've seen from Zaanstad for instance, mainly being there for Vincent van der Voort's Dart Shop though.

There's some truth in it, I'm not the biggest fan of Amsterdam to be honest. 😁

Might sound odd to say it's full of tourists, as a tourist paying like 30€ for 3 hours of parking to visit Body Worlds, buy a porcelain windmill for the parents and have like 6 churros for a tenner, but it is what it is.

Speaking of the Netherlands btw., have you noticed there's an Amsterdamned II trailer? I love the original movie and it doesn't look all that bad. With the Bava lighting in one sequence I even hope they keep that slight Giallo touch of the first one in some kind of way.

She seems to have even recorded early songs in English and Japanese. Then working with Vader Abraham the career was more focused on the Netherlands and "Zou het erg zijn" becoming a number 1 hit. She couldn't get off the child image and went broke after an album with De Makkers. Reads quite sad.

Thanks. Partly emerging from my shortage of shoe songs, but actually known to me since my childhood. Back then in the german version of course, from when Wilma was introduced as some kind of Heintje counterpart in cheesy german movies that our parents made us watch. 😁
