Though we’ve been a country divided for awhile, last year at this time I remember feeling that maybe, with the right person (Kamala) in office, we could mend the rift and begin to work forward…progress.

Now, we on the left seem to be floundering while the right is organized…and ruthless.

A year ago we, as a country, were in a completely different spot.
There was hope that we were headed toward electing our first woman president, and this seemed completely achievable. Morale was high. Love and tolerance for our neighbors was tangible.
