A #SumatranTiger's roar is so loud, it can be heard over very long distances, sometimes up to THREE kilometres away! This powerful roar helps them to mark their territory, and communicate across vast stretches of forest. They also snarl, hiss and even chuff when they are feeling happy. 🐯

Did you know that every tiger’s stripe pattern is one-of-a-kind? Just like human fingerprints, no two tigers are the same. #SumatranTiger stripes are closer together than other species, helping them to hide and blend into the lush rainforests around them. 🐅
