My first real #Robotron, Friedenstein Castle, Gotha
A vintage East German computer system displayed behind glass at the Gotha Museum. The setup includes a beige and brown monitor labeled “Robotron K 8915,” a matching keyboard with mechanical keys and function buttons, and a separate double floppy disk drive unit. The equipment is neatly arranged and appears well-preserved. Close-up of the Robotron K 8915 computer setup showing the keyboard and floppy disk drive. One 5¼-inch floppy disk is partially inserted into the drive. The keyboard features black round letter keys, a numeric keypad, and several clear-labeled function keys, all with a robust industrial design typical of 1980s computing equipment.

#Bauhaus Museum Weimar
▄ ▌█ ▀ ▀ ▌
A man dressed in all black sits cross-legged on a geometric chair designed in the Bauhaus style, with bold colors of red, blue, yellow, and black. He wears round turquoise-tinted glasses, has a short beard, and military-style boots, giving him a modern yet minimalist appearance against a plain white wall. A geometric wooden marionette from the Bauhaus Museum in Weimar hangs suspended by thin strings. The figure is constructed from flat, angular pieces in black, white, yellow, and red, with a rectangular yellow head featuring two round black glasses and a simple straight-line mouth. Its arms and legs are made of rectangular blocks and thin rods, positioned as if in motion. Wire extensions stick out from its hands, resembling elongated tools or instruments. The overall style is abstract and mechanical, reflecting Bauhaus design principles of minimalism, geometry, and playfulness. In the background, other similarly abstract marionettes are partially visible. A black and white graphic illustration of a robot-like figure with human features, holding tools in both raised hands. The figure has a square torso labeled with “№1997” and mechanical-looking arms and legs. The background is filled with dynamic, angular lines suggesting movement, power, and industrial energy. A vintage black and white photograph of a woman in a dress and hat shaking hands with a seated humanoid robot labeled “RUR” on its chest. The robot has a metallic body and helmet-like head, and is positioned on a small platform in a room with patterned carpet and wall paneling.

These two dead walkie-talkies (third pic) are especially dear to me: they are the original walkie-talkies that Brane and I used to communicate during our internet ballet Ballettikka Internettikka in 2002 at the Bolshoi Theatre - intima.org/bi/bi2

A white display case with electronic components arranged neatly inside. The parts include a green printed circuit board with chips and gold contacts, a detached rectangular LCD screen with a brown ribbon cable, and other smaller circuit pieces with wires and connectors. A white display case with multiple disassembled electronic components arranged in a grid-like pattern. The pieces include large and small green circuit boards with microchips, LCD displays, a seven-segment LED display strip, ribbon cables, and other small electronic modules. A white display case containing two nearly identical circuit boards (walkie-talkies). Each board has a small LCD screen, a circular black speaker, and a long gray antenna extending upward. Both boards also have flat orange ribbon cables attached.

└⦿✚⦿┘ my grandfather in WW2
A person wearing a weathered white helmet with a metal peace symbol on the front and two antennas on each side. The face is covered by a heavy gas mask with a large breathing filter and thick circular goggles glowing bright turquoise. The helmet and mask look old, scratched, and dirty, suggesting use in a war zone or post-apocalyptic setting. The figure’s clothing is dark, rugged, and dusty.

One of the reasons I make non-art is the need for constant confirmation and reassurance that what I'm doing is wrong.

Spent the whole day at ZKM in Karlsruhe: five exhibitions, no rush, pure joy. Felt just like the good old pre-AI days, kind of like coming home.

A vintage spherical television set with a cream-colored body and a large curved blue-tinted screen, showing abstract visuals. The TV is placed on a light wooden pedestal in a gallery with teal-colored walls, where other retro monitors and framed artworks are displayed in the background. In front of them sits a modified electric wheelchair, placed as part of the exhibition. The space has reflective flooring and mirrors, enhancing the dynamic movement of the red forms. He is wearing a black baseball cap with white text </html>, round black sunglasses with bright turquoise reflective lenses, a white goatee, a black shirt, a light gray backpack, and a white portable neck fan hanging around his neck. Behind him is a glass door with white signage showing the opening hours in German: "///// ZKM zkm karlsruhe" at the top, large bold white letters. The background shows reflections of modern buildings and glass architecture in bright daylight. A retro Eizo CRT computer monitor on a white pedestal, displaying abstract colorful bar-like shapes in shades of blue, pink, purple, and green. The monitor is gray with a thick frame and is presented in a minimalist gallery setting with a plain white wall behind it.

Today is World No Art Day, observed globally every year on August 23. It's meant to encourage a 24-hour abstinence from all forms of art creation and art consumption.

Open your heart and let the sunshine in!

★ Happy World No Art Day! ★
Two elderly women with spiky, light gray hair stand closely together outdoors, smiling warmly at the camera with their arms around each other's shoulders. They are wearing identical white T-shirts printed with a pixelated "broken image" computer icon in gray, black, green, blue, and red. Both women wear large hoop earrings. Behind them, part of a modern building is visible with the word GALLERY in bold black letters across the top. The overall mood is joyful, playful, and artistic.
