she recount the tale of baba yaga. how vasilisa and her lover nearly ran too far into the woods as kids. but an older woman dragged them out before it was too late. telling them the story of how baba yaga eat children that wander too deep. vasilisa notes that the woods feel alive, watching. she sometimes hear the voices of the dead. the calls from the lost. she is following them.
